WELCOME toThe Womanhood
Everything youβll find here is rooted in one belief. The female body carries an intelligence of its own. Our Matriarch is the name given to the home where that wisdom is honoured.
With a calling to serve women, Our Midwife was born as a place to bring women home to birth. As my work deepened, the vision expanded. Our Matriarch has become the home for every season of womanhood.
Built on the roots of relational care, my work is an expression of a life long devotion to women, mothers, birth and the female body.
OM is the centre of woman, womb, and home.
Welcome to the place where women return to their bodies, birth and the seasons of womanhood.

ABOUTIβm Tanya
Born to midwifery and motherhood simultaneously at the turn of the century, 1999. These parallel journeys have shaped my becoming.
I canβt deny the influence that my personal journey through pregnancy, birth and motherhood has had on my growth across the season of womanhood. Birthing my five children at home, with the support of a Midwife, has has provided the foundations for how I live my life. My children are my biggest teachers.
I have faced many initiations outside of birth, that have expanded my lifeβs work with women, strengthening my trust and belief in all women to stay true to their path.
I love and honour my physical body as the temple that gifts me this life. I believe that real food matters and movement is life.
I have a love for cooking and sharing meals around the family table and my kitchen is the altar of my home.
Weaving the art of Womb Continuum Care into my work is the missing piece my heart has been longing for. The roots that were deleted from conventional midwifery training.
I am so happy to be home and of service to all women in the name of Mothers.
Our Mission
Using the ancient art of midwifery and matriarchal wisdom to bring women into relationship with their bodies, strengthening intuition and holding sovereignty of their female physiology.
